BBC News Reporter Kept Hidden For Two Decades And Forced To Bare Children
That's what the BBC does when you work for them.
Chilean PlayStation 3 Ad Showns Gamer Giving Blood Transfusion To A Nazi
The image that you see above is a PlayStation 3 ad from Chile showing a gaming giving a Nazi a blood transfusion. The Nazi in the ad is suppose to be Erwin Rommel who was a highly decorated German field marshal. This isn't the first time that a Sony PlayStation ad has caused controversy. Back in July of 2006 in the Netherlands a billboard ad pop up showing a white woman subjugating a black woman with the caption "PSP White Is Coming".

Foxnews Now Broadcasting In Widescreen On All Of It's Tv Feeds
Foxnews started broadcasting in widescreen on all of it's feeds. Previously Foxnews only broadcast in widescreen on their HD feed. If your watching on a widescreen you won't notice a difference but if you've got a old 4:3 tube tv you'll notice black bars on the top and bottom of the picture.Foxnews say's their doing this to bring the same viewing experience to everyone but I think it's just a way to cut costs. I personally don't like the black bars as I like my tv "real estate" to be filled with the whole picture.

Public School Kids Shown In Video Singing About Obama In School.
The video above shows kids that look to be in 2nd grade at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School singing about Obama in February of 2009.
This video is outrageous, this is something that would be done in North Korea to brain wash kids. Yet this is being done to our young minds here in the United States Of America. Even worse it's not like this is some private school, this is a public school. The teacher that was in charge of that class has since retired. Whoever else is responsible for this should face disciplinary action. The Burlington County Board of Education needs to do a extensive investigation into this.
The second song which is sung to the theme of The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, The Battle Hymn Of The Republic! What's next a song named "God Bless Obama"? Oh wait I spoke too soon http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1000497/old_man_in_audience_sings_song_god_bless_barack_obama_ia/

Firefox Add On of The Week: McAfee SiteAdvisor

This weeks Firefox add on of the week McAfee SiteAdvisor, isn't really just for firefox but also works on Internet Explorer. SiteAdvisor is a security add on which use a color coding system to tell you if the site is dangerous or not. Green means the site is safe, Yellow means use cation, and red mean the site is dangerous. It will block you from visiting red rated sites to protect your computer from malware. SiteAdvisor also adds on a little indicator to your search pages (like google and yahoo) to tell you if the site that you are searching is safe or not.
The only issue that I have with McAfee SiteAdvisor is that sometimes the main add on stops working while the search engine part still works. At least in Firefox it does.
Researches Demand Cell Phone Cancer Tax
The usual suspects turned up to present evidence to the Subcommittee on Labour, Health, and Human Services, which was sitting to consider the issue. It heard evidence from researchers on both sides of the debate, some of whom were attending a conference on the subject nearby.
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/09/16/cellphone_safety/
That's all we need, another cell phone tax. There's already a 911 tax, a federal tax, and a state tax on cell phone bills. I doubt that this is going to even go through the Senate, considering that only 2 of the 12 members of that subcommittee showed up.

Acorn Striped Of All Federal Funding
The Defund ACORN Act prohibits any "federal contract grant, cooperative agreement or any other form of agreement (including a memorandum of understanding" from being awarded to or entered into with the group. It also prohibits federal funds "in any other form" from being provided."

Maryland state Representative Elijah Cummings(D) voted no on The Defund ACORN act. It's no surprise that Cummings voted no, his district covers the City were one of the ACORN offices are located.
My local Representative Dutch Ruppersberger (D) voted Yes on the bill, I give props to him for voting Yes on a bill that I agreed on.
To find out how your local Representative voted The New York Times surprisingly has a list of who voted Yes and No. You would think that The New York Time would want to cover up something like this.

New ACORN Videos From San Diego
Not as shocking as the previous video that was released were the ACORN worker claimed that she killed her husband and used to be a prostitute.
This video has the ACORN worker helping them to plan a way to get the under age girls from Mexico into the USA.

New Undercover ACORN Video Released, And You Thought It Couldn't Get Worse
The ACORN saga, you thought it couldn't get any worse. Meet Tresa Kaelke a ACORN worker also a formal prostitute, and murder. That's right a murder, Tresa talked about murdering her husband in the video above.
As with the other undercover videos she explained how to hide their illegal business. ACORN needs to be taken down now. The corruption isn't just a one or two offices thing, it's beginning to sound like a nation wide thing.

Say Bye Bye To Tax Payer Funding ACORN
"The Senate voted to cut off ACORN Housing funds following the release of three videotapes that show employees of the activist group advising a "pimp" and "prostitute" on how to break the law. The amendment, offered by Nebraska Republican Sen. Mike Johanns, passed in a vote of 83 to 7 and prohibits the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now from receiving funds from the current Transportation and Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill. It marks the third time this year Republicans tried to block the organization from federal funding."http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/14/senate-votes-cut-acorn-housing-funding/
Well this is another nail in the ACORN coffin.
Filmmaker That Expossed ACORN May Face Charges In Maryland
"In Maryland, it's against the law to tape a person without their prior permission. It's also illegal to "willfully use or willfully disclose the content of said audio," Baltimore City State Attorney Patricia Jessamy said in a statement released late Friday. She added: "The penalty for the unlawful interception, disclosure or use of it is a felony punishable up to five years."http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local-beat/ACORN-Sting-Filmmaker-May-Face-State-Charges-59130662.html
That quote came from Baltimore City State Attorney Patrica Jessamy on the subject of that ACORN sting that was done in Baltimore, Washington DC, and New York City. It is disgusting that the City Of Baltimore is even considering charging these filmmakers for exposing ACORN for the thugs they are. Patrica Jessamy is not only supporting ACORN but child molesters as well. Instead of going after ACORN for these criminal acts they're going after the people who exposed them. I'm pretty sure that someone in the City is getting some nice campaign money from ACORN.
Md. Code Ann., Courts and Judicial Proceedings 10-402 which makes wire tapping or recording someones voice without notifying them before hand a felony in the State Of Maryland and is punishable by 5 years on prison. 10- 402 is a stupid law, the government wire taps without notifying the people who they do it to, why can't we? That law would also make it illegal for security cameras to pick up audio without notifying you and I'm pretty sure the McDonald's is in violation of this law. Every time I go into a McDonald's I don't see any notifications. This is a law that needs to be scraped from the books.

Census Bureau Severs Ties with ACORN.
"Conservatives have cheered the Census Bureau's decision to sever ties with ACORN because it had lost confidence in the group, but the hidden-camera videos that prompted ACORN to fire four workers this week could raise more questions about the federal funding ACORN receives for housing outreach."http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/12/census-victory-conservatives-target-hud-funds-acorn/
I'm glad that their not going to be helping with the Census. If ACORN came knocking at my door for the Census, I would just shut the door. Now that I think of it, if they come knocking at my door at all I'll shut it anyway.

Pro-life Activist Shot To Death In Front Of a School.

The gunman was apparently upset about a photo of a fetus being shown to students. I'm guessing that he didn't know that photo's of fetus's are shown in school text books.

I Didn't Purchase A Phone From Best Buy
Obama Is Considering A Soda Tax To Help pay for the health care bill.

“I actually think it’s an idea that we should be exploring,” Obama said in an interview with Men’s Health magazine that goes on sale next week. “There’s no doubt that our kids drink way too much soda.”
Lawmakers drafting legislation to revamp the U.S. health- care system have considered new taxes on sugar and sweetened soda to help pay the cost, estimated at as much as $1 trillion over the next decade.
Obama said that, while the proposal faces opposition from some legislators, higher taxes that reduce soda consumption would be helpful.
“Every study that’s been done about obesity shows that there is a high correlation between soda consumption and obesity,” Obama said in the magazine interview. “Obviously it’s not the only factor, but it is a major factor.”
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=aL4kvP4_gZSI
I think that this is a horrible idea, some states already have a deposit that they put on sodas sales to help encourage recycling. Not to mention sales tax. If a soda tax is to passes, it will hurt the industry a whole lot. People will start buying less soad, companies will raise the prices of soda to help regain the lost revenue from the slowing sales.
"Obama said he understands fears some would have about “Big Brother telling them what to eat or drink,” but he said any steps that reduce soda consumption would have “ a big impact on people’s health in this country.”
Is it just more or was Obama being a Hippocratic a bit there. This is basically Big Brother. Soda tax = more money for health care, less people drinking soda = less the Government has to spend on health care. Obviously Obama doesn't know what's right for the economy, that's all we need is another tax.

Baltimore County School's won't show Obama's speech to students live.
This is might be another move by Obama to try to keep his falling approval ratings from falling any further. It's like Obama is still in campaigning mode. I agree that the message is positive and really needs to be told over and over again to kids. Maybe this is the best time to give this speech to kids while he's still popular.
Judge Temporarily Suspeneds Microsoft Word Ban.
This isn't a surprise to me, I knew that Microsoft has a few tricks up it's sleeve.
What the Baltimore Orioles need to do to get more people to game to the games.

Yesterday, me and my family went to a Baltimore Orioles game. The O's won 7-0 playing the Texas Rangers. While there I notice a lot of empty seats, about 30,000 empty seats of 48,876. I was thinking what could the Baltimore Orioles do to get more people to come to the games.
1. Become a winning team, nobody wants to see a losing team.
2. Make food prices more responsible. I know that food sales is one of the ways they make a profit but if you make the food more cheaper, people will be more willing to buy food at the ball park instead of bring food in or eating before hand.
3. Make souvenirs prices more responsible, again if prices were lower people would be more willing to buy stuff.
4. Give away more unsold tickets to games that won't sell well. They can still make a profit by giving away tickets from food and souvenirs.
5. Do more fan involved activities. Doing a couple t-shirt tosses will keep the fans less bored.
6. Get the Orioles Bird (The team mascot) out there more. During the game I only saw the Orioles Bird once.
7. The City of Baltimore needs to become a safer city. Sure if you stay near Camden Yards and the Inner Harbor you'll be safe but Baltimore high crime rate will keep some tourist's away.

Firefox Add On of The Week: Noscript

This week's Add On of The Week, Noscript is a security add on for Firefox. Noscript blocks JavaScript, Flash and, Java. Noscript also protects from Click jacking and Cross Site Scripting.
While Noscript is a great add on, it is not for nontechnical users. So therefor I cannot recommended it for everyone. If you a security aware user this is a must have add on for you.

Tasteless WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) 9/11 ad.
The video above shows the planes hitting the WTC, then shows a dozen planes about to hit buildings in NYC. You might think the video was made by some terrorist organization or by some 9/11 conspiracy theorist. Well your wrong, it was made by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). I could see PETA pulling some pin headed move like this but the WWF is a respected organization not some left winged loons. The video goes on saying "In 2001, one of the worst tragedies in the history of humanity killed 2,819 people" "In 2005, the tsunami killed 280,000 People. That's 100 times more deaths" "Our planet is brutally powerfull. Respect it".
Well guess what WWF, you just lost my respect. You are now down were PETA is on my respect level, all the way on the bottom. Even though the ad was pulled it is WRONG to compare any amount of deaths of people to tell people to respect the earth. Sure the earth is powerful but so are terrorist that want to destroy America and Israel. Can you imagine the outrage if WWF aired the ad on 9/12? I have a feeling that the WWF want to air the ad sometime around the 9/11 anniversary considering that it popped up today.
Update 9/15/2009: Looks like the WWF tried to cover their tracks again by removing the video from Youtube again.

Sen. John Karry wants introduce legistlation that will ban exclusive agrements.....
Sen. John Karry of Massachusetts wants to introduce legislation banning these exclusive deals that cell phone markers do with Networks. I think that this is just another move by the left to punch capitalism in the face. I personally don't really care about any of these exclusive phone deals that the phone companies do. It bring better technology and better phones to the market. If a consumer wants a unlocked phone or a certain phone he or she will buy it unlocked. Also does the average consumer really care?
What Sen. John Kerry really needs to do is introduce legislation that will do something about the outrageous prices of sending and receiving a text message. The average cost of sending and receiving a text message is now 15 cents. It's not like it cost's cell phone carriers to send and receive text messages, the infrastructure is already up. It would cost over $6000 to send a 4mb file with the rates of text messages. While just $40 on a carriers data network.
